Product Care Guide
To keep your custom headscarf looking beautiful and lasting longer, please follow the care instructions below based on your fabric type.
General Care Tips
- Always check the fabric label before washing.
- Wash dark and light colors separately to prevent color transfer.
- Avoid wringing or twisting the fabric, as this can distort the shape.
- Store your headscarf flat or loosely rolled to avoid creases.
Silk Headscarves
- Washing: Hand wash only in cold water (under 30°C) using a mild silk detergent.
- Drying: Lay flat on a clean towel away from direct sunlight.
- Ironing: Iron on the lowest setting with a cloth between the iron and fabric.
- Do not: Machine wash, tumble dry, or use bleach.
Cotton & Linen Headscarves
- Washing: Hand wash or gentle machine cycle in cool water (under 30°C).
- Drying: Lay flat or hang to air dry. Avoid direct sunlight to prevent fading.
- Ironing: Iron on a medium setting while slightly damp for best results.
- Do not: Use hot water or tumble dry on high heat.
Chiffon Headscarves
- Washing: Hand wash gently in cold water with a mild detergent.
- Drying: Lay flat to dry. Do not hang, as chiffon can stretch when wet.
- Ironing: Use a cool iron on the reverse side of the fabric.
- Do not: Machine wash or bleach.
Polyester Headscarves
- Washing: Machine wash on a gentle cycle in cool water, or hand wash.
- Drying: Air dry or tumble dry on low heat.
- Ironing: Use a low heat setting. Avoid high temperatures as polyester can melt.
- Do not: Use bleach or high heat.
Storing Your Headscarf
Store your headscarf in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. For silk and chiffon styles, consider storing them in a soft pouch or flat in a drawer to prevent snags and wrinkles.
